Aklivity has achieved AWS ISV Accelerate partner status! This milestone elevates our partnership with AWS to a new level by formally establishing a joint go-to-market motion. Aklivity’s streaming-native API infrastructure solutions will now reach and enable data-driven organizations globally with the direct support of AWS field teams.
Zilla Plus on AWS Marketplace
At Aklivity, we’re pioneering streaming-native API infrastructure through Zilla, a multi-protocol, edge and service proxy. Zilla allows browsers, IoT clients, and microservices to directly consume and produce real-time data streams via their native protocols like HTTP, MQTT, and gRPC. It replaces the hodgepodge of integration middleware, pipelines, and custom code that teams must run to integrate data streaming into web, IoT, and service mesh deployments.
Zilla is open-source and designed to handle the most demanding use cases; however, for infrastructure solutions on the critical data path, many enterprise teams have extended security, monitoring, data governance, and support requirements. To address these needs, we offer Zilla Plus on AWS Marketplace.
As its name suggests, Zilla Plus is everything in Zilla, plus:
- Streamlined setups with vendor-provided Kafka offerings, including Amazon MSK
- Integrations with AWS Secrets Manger, Certificate Managers, CloudWatch, and Glue Schema Registry
- Secure Public Access functionality that turns Zilla Plus into a Kafka gateway for securely exposing privately networked clusters to on-premise, cross-cloud, and third-party deployed clients
- Expanded deployment options that include CDK-Terraform and CloudFormation
- 24x7 support options with SLAs
For industry leaders like N Brown and Kone, Zilla Plus is key to extending the reach of MSK data streams across their applications and services.

Since the beginning, we have been committed to the AWS ecosystem, and our existing commercial efforts have been exclusively focused on AWS Marketpalce. By successfully enabling AWS customers and ensuring that Zilla Plus meets the stringent AWS Well-Architected technical requirements, we earned invitations to join the ISV Accelerate and Global Startup Programs.
Moving forward, we will be closely working with AWS account executives and solution architects to extend the benefits of MSK’s real-time data processing beyond the cloud to applications and services running on-premise, at the edge, or in the palms of consumers. Ultimately, our joint mission is to facilitate customers with a fully event-driven application stack that accelerates real-time digital transformation initiatives.
